E’en though my heart was filled with love and Joy.
Oh darkness that pervades, these inner depths of troubled Worlds,
I know not how to make my peace with thee.
You taunt me with forbidden fruits, and raise my deep desires,
Yet, I have passed this way before and know that sadness Waits,
To twist and turn, to tear and wrench, to make these fists of Anger clench,
This is one moment, I had wished, to pass so long ago,
And yet it lingers still!
